Berry, Amanda
Amanda Berry is at reception and veterinary nursing at East Mornington Veterinary Hospital.
Amanda Berry joins our team at East Mornington on the recommendation of her friend and former co-worker Lauri from our Rye Beach Clinic. Amanda has a customer service focus and we are sure she will be able to help our clients get good advice and great care. Amanda started veterinary nursing at Karingal Vet Hospital where she worked for just over two years. While there she completed her Certificate II in animal studies and started her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing. She will be completing her studies while working with us.
Amanda has first-hand experience with advanced surgical procedures and the complicated job of post-operative care. Her border collie Digger, who already only had three legs, has had an artificial hip replacement with the specialist surgeon Dr Chris Preston. Amanda also shares her life with Gyspy the border collie cross.
She loves food, especially pasta and chicken parmigiana, and has dreams of travelling in Europe. |

Kate loves learning and hopes to continue to expand her knowledge in order to best help your pets. She is really enjoying working with our team and the pets and clients down at East Mornington. She even says she hopes to see out her days working with us! We look forward to a long and happy working relationship with Kate.

Dr Campbell, Julie
Dr Julie Campbell is part of our East Mornington Veterinary team. Julie's interest is in small animal surgery.
Dr Julie Campbell joined our East Mornington Veterinary Hospital team in 2007. Julie grew up on the Mornington Peninsula where she attended high school. Julie completed her veterinary science degree at the University of Melbourne in 2006 as a mature aged student, and worked at the Narre Warren Vet Clinic prior to joining Peninsula Vet Care.
Julie is married with three children, two Ragdoll cats, a Rottweiler, two Maltese Cross terriers and two green tree frogs. Looking after this lot keeps Julie pretty busy but in her free time she also enjoys a broad range of outdoor interests.
Julie is especially interested in small animal surgery and is looking forward to expanding her expertise in this area. Julie also hopes to become involved in overseas desexing programs in Bali and Sri Lanka, following in the footsteps of many of our vets and nurses.
Julie is a genuine and caring veterinarian whom we hope you will all get to know and trust. |

Dr Clancy, Peter
Dr Peter Clancy is one of the partners in Peninsula Vet Care and works at all of our branches at times, depending on who is on holidays. Peter also takes care of much of the management side of the business.
Dr Peter Clancy graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1977. He initially worked in mixed practice in Ballarat and Dandenong. Peter then travelled to England to work for a year and brought back something unexpected – a wife! On his return to Australia he worked in equine practice in Mordialloc for two years before joining Dr Andrew Trezise at Dromana back when it was a single vet practice. He became a partner in the practice in February 1983 and for many years did most of the equine and cattle work the clinic dealt with.
Unfortunately for Peter, Peninsula Vet Care no longer carries out equine or cattle work due to the busy nature of the small animal business and the declining number of large animals on the Peninsula. Peter has taken over much of the business management as the group has expanded and he continues to see small animals for appointments and surgery. His gentle, chatty manner makes him a longtime favourite with our clients.
Outside of work Peter and his wife Joy breed their Golden Retriever (now
retired) and Cavalier King Charles spaniel. Peter also enjoys cycling and
travelling around Australia with his family in their camper trailer. Peter
has three children – Bethany, David and Luke – who are a constant challenge
and joy! |
